DNATA SKYVIEW LOUNGE, GENEVA

Kelvin and I used the dnata skyview lounge at Geneva when we flew back on KLM from GVA-SIN via Amsterdam. Really thankful for our ANZ travel card which allows us access to quite a few lounges all over the world!

The lounge was pretty small, we had to walk quite a distance past a few lounges to get there.

It didnt look very impressive on the outside but the inside was much better. Initially there were some problems when i gave them our credit cards but luckily it went through eventually phew.

There were plenty of arm chairs available at the lounge. It was pretty quiet at the lounge, not alot of people were there when we entered the lounge.

Kelvin liked this huge hublot clock!

The selection of food was quite limited, there were some light snacks like cakes and some small bites. Luckily later we spotted some ham and cheese so we took quite abit of those haha.

There were some bottles of red wine, vodka, whisky etc. In fact, I noticed that in most lounges (except Singapore), they seem to be pretty generous with their alcohol!

After using the lounge for a short while, it was time for us to take our flight so we left for our gate.

Little did we know that our flight to Amsterdam was delayed for 2 hours! We didnt know until we asked the flight counter and they explained that the flight was delayed due to some bad weather condition zzz.. We were wondering if we should go back to the lounge since quite paiseh, we had already left. But in the end, we were like heck it. There's nothing we can do meanwhile and we had already walked around all the duty free shops already!

So we made our way back and explained sheepishly our flight was delayed and then plonked ourselves down for the next couple of hours. Thank God for the lounge access, if not we would have to wait around doing nothing at the boarding gate area which was super crowded already!
