It's all doom and gloom and bad news about the economy on tv and papers everyday, i dont even want to read the news anymore. It's so depressing just to hear about how big companies like Citigroup and DBS and even Goldman Sachs retrenching staff by large numbers..my stocks are all down and so are my unit trusts for that matter lol. oh well..

It doesnt help that even the auto industry in the US is so badly affected such that one (from GM, Ford or Chrysler) has to go...i cant imagine the no. of pple that would be let go when that happens man..

Anyway I just have to wait patiently for my investments to go up again hahaha..it's only a matter of time before the economy recovers, although it may take a few years but im not in a hurry so i guess it's fine! im trying to be optimistic here as you can see hahaha :x

On a good note, we've managed to rent out one of our rooms in our Yishun flat. Now only left the aircon room, which i think it's strange cuz i thought pple prefer aircon rooms haha..but i guess economy is not good and pple rather save $ and use the fan lol. The agent wanted commission for introducing the tenant but i told her firmly from the start that we will not pay any $ cuz we want to rent direct to tenants hehe..so yay i managed to save $!! I've gotten so many calls recently from so many property agents that i cant remember who is who now..but they all have tenants that are couples and i told the agents we only want single working professionals though.

i took a pic of the ad i placed in The Straits Times last Sat..will post it when i get the chance to haha.

We're going to IKEA this sat to buy some stuff for the house. Table, chairs ,a new mattress for the tenant and some other misc stuff..I love going to IKEA, esp to eat the swedish meatballs ;)
