Review - Plaza Premium Lounge @ Changi Airport T1

Went to trip to Koh Samui last week with my sister and family and got the chance to use the Plaza Premium Lounge at T1 at Changi Airport. With my DBS altitude card, I can use my Priority Pass for 2 lounge accesses a year so I used my Priority Pass for this lounge visit.

Was actually deciding between going to this lounge and the SATS Premier lounge but looking at reviews from other flyers, decided to go for Plaza Premium lounge and wasn't disappointed!

The lounge was located at Level 3 where the Emirates lounge is also at.

Entrance of the Plaza Premium Lounge - the lounge looks pretty new and modern from outside

The lounge wasn't too crowded when i got in, it was around 8pm plus i think at the time of my visit. There were loads of seating options available ranging from single  seats to comfy looking booth seats complete with cushions for larger groups.

Also had some posh looking leather seats where you can recline and rest if you want to.

Food/Drinks

There were the standard tea/coffee drink options available. The tea selection is from Dilmah

Juices (apple and orange) are also available with fresh fruits

Wide range of soft drinks & beverages as well

In terms of food options, there are a few choices available - some local pastries (kuehs), soba noodles and other finger food/snacks

For those looking for more filling options, there were quesadillas and steamed rice with dishes

What i really liked was the option to order food and have it freshly prepared by the cook. There wasnt this option at the Ambassador Transit Lounge and other lounges i tried at Changi airport.

All day menu - you can choose from chicken rice, hot udon, laksa and all day breakfast options.

I read from other reviews that their chicken rice was quite good so i decided to try that ^^

It came in a small bowl and with achar and ginger as condiments. The chili sauce that came with it was really spicy and nice!

I grabbed a comfy looking single booth seat near the end of the lounge

Also, took some drinking water and small sandwiches (tuna and ham/cheese).

Overall, this is one of the nicest lounges i've been to and would definitely use this lounge again if I came to T1 again.
