My first time going to the F1 night race since it was first held in Singapore in 2008. Went with Kelvin and his family, we bought tix for Sat night which costs $108 per pax for Zone 4 Walkabout.

We took a bus to Novena MRT and arrived at City Hall MRT around 4pm plus. By the time we arrived, the Formula BMW race was ending.
Saw some people selling tickets at the MRT entrance which was kinda weird. This Caucasian guy just lifted the lanyard around his neck and kept saying to pple passing by, "f1 tickets for sale".

There were lots of tents selling F1 merchandise like Ferrari polo tees, shirts and lanyards.
Cindy bought a cute red Ferrari kids polo tee and a bright yellow Ferrari lanyard.
There were props inside for spectators to take photos so of course we took a few haha.

The Porshe race started, not very exciting as the Porsche cars that were racing seemed to be going quite slow compared to the F1 cars. Didn't have the excitement and loud sounds of the F1 engines lol.
There was a female team official which stood out among the rest of the men
After the Porsche race, we took the underpass to the Padang Stage area where Daughtry was lined up to perform at 6.15pm.
F&B area selling snacks and food.
Prices were a tad high, a small cup of beer selling at $8 and satay for $12 for 10 sticks? But usually food at such events are pretty high so not very surprising lol.

LG Live Entertainment Lineup - Featuring Daughtry
There was a lot of excitement when Daughtry came out to perform.
You can see the main singer on the big screens on both sides. He was really good, his vocals are solid.
Kelvin (who was "working" earlier) came to join us with his brother and we bought some food for dinner to eat from Tunglok tent which included this $9 set with rice or noodles and a bottled drink.
F1 -Third Practice Session
After the practice session which ended at 8pm, we waited for the qualifying rounds to start at 10pm. It was a very long wait..
Kelvin went to buy the Ferrari lanyard too cuz it looks v. cool and can use for work to put his access pass.

some guy waving the F1 flag,no idea if he bought himself or part of the organizers. me thinks the former.

We couldnt even tell who was first or last cuz they were just zooming past at a blistering speed..the sound was ear-deafening and my eardrums were literally bursting at one point so in the end had to get the $2 survival kit which included ear plugs and poncho.
After the qualifying race which ended at 11pm, we went to the Padang area again for the concert where Adam Lambert was slated to perform at 11.30pm.
