Actually the main reason i got it was cuz i found about this cam from Christine who just bought it yesterday after work. She was telling me about this Lumix cam which she was dying to get and its the same one as the one Xiaxue bought and raved about.
i've been thinking of getting a good cam for my trip to Europe in Aug for my sis's wedding (the only cam i have currently is like a lousy 2 megapixel which i bought years ago and my Nokia N85 hp's camera which i use most often). Christine started telling me how about how good the cam is and its v popular in the forums like hardwarezone and clubsnap..then she's also going to Europe (Paris and London) next Tuesday and almost freaking out cuz its all sold out at the shops which are selling it a v good price with freebies thrown in..There's this shop called MS Color at AMK central which is selling at the lowest price - $679 with freebies like tripod stand, extra battery, screen protector etc. and she told me she was going there on Sat to get it when the stock comes in.
Then yest nite, she sent me a txt message saying she got the cam last nite!! And completely pyscho-ed me to get it hahaha..cuz she said the shipment that just came in only got limited sets and they are going to raise prices after Sunday..So after i got home after meeting Limin, her friends, Kelvin and my bro for dinner and drinks at Timbre, i went online to do some research on the cam and i was sold! there are only good reviews about the cam on the net and practically everyone has only positive things to say about it. Its like one of the best sellers Panasonic has come up with since late last year and its almost exactly like the Leica D-lux4 model but at a lower price tag. I also checked the quality of the pics which were taken and they are very clear!

I love the brown leather casing which comes with the Leica D-lux4!! I paid $10 for a normal casing just to protect it but if i could buy the leather casing, that would be so cool man..
