Back from bangkok!Pretty tired from the trip haha..think i prefer beach holidays trips compared to shopping trips cuz they really burn u out! I think i never walked so much in my life before haha

Couldnt decide which sunglasses to bring along for the trip

Black sunglasses (that i got from Style mag haha) or my green/blue MNG sunglasses. In the end Kelvin said the MNG one was nicer (he said the black one made me look like im a blind person wearing dark glasses, idiot) so i brought that along haha..

First Day

Our flight was at 3.45pm so we reached the airport at 1.30pm. We checked in early cuz it was free seating on the AirAsia plane so we walked ard the departure lounge at the Changi Airport.

We saw a baby blue Maeserati coupe at the airport and it was so cool! Kelvin took a pic with the car (see the cute bear in the car hahaha)

Was quite disappointed when we saw the interior of the AirAsia plane haha..i mean yeah, its a budget airline but they didnt even have tv or radio..basically we were bored to tears during the whole 2.5 hr journey. We even played ji-go-pa to pass the time, that was how bored we were haha..

Finally we reached the Bangkok airport and we had a free transfer to our hotel at the Twin Towers. We wanted to get a room at Hotel Asia but it was fully booked.

Pics of our room! It was pretty big and spacious and there were 2 huge queen-sized bed haha..not a bad deal considering we paid about $100 for 3 nites per pax!

View from our room - not exactly fantastic =/

Beauty and the Beast

After that we went to Siam Square and MBK and did some shopping. Bought some Boots face wash for my colleague and after that, we had dinner at Fuji resturant where they had good Japanese food..it came up to about 690 baht which is around $30 for both of us?we ordered like the boat with sashimi slices, and 2 set dinners so i think the price was pretty good!

2nd Day

We had the breakfast buffet at the hotel (which wasn't great but it was ok) and we went to tailor some clothes at Sukumvhit Soi. We did it at the Ambassador hotel tailor and it was quite cheap! i made a skirt and pants and kelvin made a pair of pants and shirt.

After that, we took a cab (ok we took cabs everywhere haha ) and hit Chatuchak market. It was Freaking hot!!We spent a good 3-4 hours there and got fed up of the weather and went back to the hotel to freshen up cuz we were both stinky with the sweating and everything lol

We went to MBK and siam square again and i got my nails done (: $8 for french manicure and pedicure (just filing and painting only though) After that, we did some shopping at the night markets along the streets.

Bought this green top from one of the roadside stalls near Siam Square. Super cheap, only $4!

Saw this F1 racing car on display outside a Toyota cafe. The concept is pretty innovative! Its like a cafe where they serve food and drinks and there are Toyota merchandise in the shop, with cosy couches haha..

We ate dinner at this famous local restaurant called Papaya Salad Restaurant where the food is cheep and good (:

Waiting for the food to arrive

Mixed Papaya Salad

The dish on the right is omg so delicious!@! Fried chicken, simple but tastes soo good - we ordered 2 servings!

3rd Day

Our clothes were delivered to our hotel by the tailor, not bad! My pants were too loose for me but we didnt have time to alter them so i brought them back to singapore to do it..Kelvin's ones came out really good though! After bkfast, we headed for Yaowarat i.e. Chinatown. The place is huge and we lost our way walking through the small alleys..i bought some cute purses for my cousins and after that, we were so hungry and had our lunch at the famous Nam Sing Restaurant.

Ordered the famous Sharks fin soup - 300 Baht

Black pepper crab - 300 Baht

Crab meat with Broccoli - 200 Baht

After that, we went to MBK and had our dinner at the Sizzler's there..it was so damn cheap!! $6 per person for the salad buffet (which included the pasta, soup, celery sticks, jelly, potato salad etc), a plate of chicken/pork/fish and a coke! Can die lor hahaha

Last day

Time really flew past and it was the last day, time to go back! so sad...Took some pics in the mini bus on our way back to the airport

GoOdbye BKK and hello Singapore!
