Q Switch Laser @ The Clifford Clinic- Review

This is a long overdue review of my Q switch laser procedure. But better late than never!

I've been wanting to get rid of my sun spot on the right side of my face which I started noticing about a couple of years ago. Initially it wasnt very big but somehow it seemed to get larger and suddenly it become soo noticeable! I was quite disturbed by it needless to say and always covered it up using my concealer and powder. But it was getting to me after all cuz i could still see abit of the sunspot even after all the makeup :(

Now looking back, really regret all my sun tanning sessions i did at the beach and pool in my younger days lol..Nowadays, I've learnt my lesson and never go out without religiously applying sunblock!

So i decided to google for some reviews on how to get rid of that damn spot. Lo and behold, I found some reviews of The Clifford Centre where some bloggers did their acne/sun spot removal there. The reviews seemed not bad and legit so i decided to give it a go! I made an appointment to see the doctor (Dr Gerald Ee) for a skin consultation and first trial.

When I was at the clinic, they told me to take a couple of pics in one of their rooms for comparison. So i quickly took a selfie at the same time as well for my own records lol. Here's a pic of myself, can you see that ugly gigantic brown sun spot??

So after my consultation with Dr Ee (who was really nice and reassuring. He looks really young btw!), i did my first trial session of the Q switch laser. I have to admit, i wasnt quite prepared for how red the spot would look like after the session gosh. It was abit painful (on a scale of 1 to 10, maybe it was like 6) and felt like angry red ants biting my face :/

Anyway here's a before and after pic after my first session. See how red the spot is after the session, it looked quite scary. I wanted to put concealer right away after that but the staff advised me not try not to so i had to put up with it until i got home. They put some antiseptic cream on it and then i quickly rushed home haha.

Another pic to show how red it was..looked like my blood vessels burst lol. But the doctor told me not to worry, it would fade in a couple of days (which it did).

After the initial trial, i signed up for the Q switch treatment sessions (paid 1.1k for 5 sessions in total) and went for a few sessions since then. Luckily the subsequent sessions werent as bad and my face wasnt so red after that lol.

Soo..after about 6 months plus, this is my before and after pic! I'm really quite pleased and happy with the results, the spot is almost gone and not noticeable anymore!! Amazing right?! It's money well spent imo..hahaha the price of beauty!

But yah, im so happy now i dont have to spend so much time trying to conceal the sunspot anymore. ^^ So if anyone has an ugly sunspot which you want to get rid of, i would definitely recommend going to Dr Gerald Ee at The Clifford Clinic!! In fact, i brought Kelvin along with me one of the days and he ended up removing some moles on his face which has been bothering him for a while. haha he's quite happy with it as well. And this is not a sponsored post or anything so you can take my word for it!!
