Langham Place, New York

During my US trip this year, I got the chance to stay over at NY for 1 night enroute and decided to stay at the Langham Place at NYC. It was a lil pricey but i was thinking, how often do i get to go to NYC?? So what the heck, just splurge a little bit and stay at a nice hotel since its only for 1 night haha..Plus the hotel was located right at the famous Fifth Avenue so it was really central!

I think the room rate came up to close to SGD 380 to 400 for 1 night?

We arranged for a car pick up to bring us to the hotel from the JFK airport when we arrived, the customs took so long to clear!! Its really a nightmare to clear US customs, i actually came out earlier but my colleague was stuck in the queue for a pretty long time.

After about a 40 mins ride, we finally arrived at the Langham Place hotel at Fifth Avenue.

Entrance of the hotel

Hotel lobby, nicely decorated with art pieces.

We were a little early so we were hoping to be able to check in early.  I liked the small touches at the hotel esp the fruit infused water at the hotel lobby where guests could help themselves to the water while waiting to check-in.

After waiting for a while (about close to an hour?), we finally got the keys to our room. By then, i was almost comatose because as usual, i couldn't sleep on the plane and it was almost close to 23 hours of sleep deprivation by then! I was dying to take a quick rest becuz my body was almost shutting down by then lol.

The hotel room was really gorgeous, it was spacious and very modern.

Hotel toiletries were from the Chuan Spa brand (Langham's inhouse spa brand). The smell of their bath products was really nice i must say!

The toilet was amazing!! this looks like a normal mirror right?

Actually, this mirror comes with in inbuilt tv screen in it! i didnt even realize until much later lol.

look at how inviting the bath tub is..

i wish my toilet at home looked like this!

Look at how pretty the hotel pink pen is! its really the prettiest hotel pen i've seen so far hahaa

Overall,I really enjoyed my stay at Langham Place. The service was pretty good and the location of the hotel was really awesome. If you walk down the stretch of 5th Avenue, you will see the famous Trump Tower and eventually reach the Central Park. You can also easily walk to the Times Square from the hotel (which we did at night) and save money on cab fare lol.  I also liked the fact that there was a nearby convenience shop where we could stock up on drinks and snacks haha. My only regret is not being able to stay for longer to enjoy the hotel more!
