Loccitane facial @ Star Street, HK

Have been wanting to try the Loccitane facial in Hong Kong ever since my colleague told me about it, she was sharing that even when the therapist put the mask on her she would continue massing her hands so there wasn't any moment where she was left alone and i was like wah! Only a few countries have Spa Loccitane including Japan, HK and Taiwan i think?

So on my recent trip to HK, i finally got the chance to experience the facial! I called about 1 month ahead to make a facial appointment at the Spa Loccitane outlet at Star Street.

Had to take a taxi there because we werent sure how to get there by MTR. Luckily enough, our decision was right as the taxi went up a steep slope and i was like thinking wow if we had walked we would have been perspiring like mad !

When we got there, we checked out the facials available and decided on the 60 mins facial (partially cuz the prices were not cheap lol).

Wide range of products available at their Star Street outlet, they carry their Loccitane cosmetic range as well which is not available in Singapore!

The therapist brought me to the treatment room and it looked very cosy and dark. Felt like sleeping already when i stepped in haha.

After changing into my bathrobe, I was ready for my facial treatment! The facial was interesting, the therapist first started washing my feet in some basin and i felt kind of paiseh actually when she did it haha. My only thought was like erm oh no, what if my feet is very dirty n she freaks out lol.

Next she put some aromatherapy oil on her hands and asked me to inhale deeply, it smelled very nice and calming. Think it was some lavender scent. After that she started the facial and it was very good. My only complaint was that it was too short!

After the facial, the therapist brought me to a makeup/touch up room where you can try out their skin care and makeup products which I thought was pretty cool!

Wide range of their foundation powders and lip glosses etc.

Was served a cup of hot tea and biscotti which was nice.

The skin care line (which btw is very expensive) so of course i had to try it out ^^

Overall i wouldn't mind trying their facial again next time if i have the chance though its pretty ex but think its worth the splurge. Wish they would open an outlet in Singapore!
