Outlet shopping + Grand Canyon Tour!- Part 4

Outlet Shopping in US

Was so thrilled to do shopping in US, they have all my fav brands like Hollister and Abercrombie. Ok i know some people think these brands are for teens but actually that's not true..My friends and I love their stuff (and my friends are in their late 30s!) simply because their clothes are good quality and best of all, super comfortable to wear. Esp their jeans and shorts!! I could go and on raving about their stuff all day but ok i will stop here lol..

Town Square Las Vegas..they have 2 storey buildings spread out over a very large area..quite different from what I thought a shopping mall would look like!

If you are interested to visit this mall, you can read more about it here

Hollister Co store

how come the shops in SG are not so nicely decorated as the stores in US??

Me with all my purchases!

Back at the hotel with all my shopping bags..see what I mean when i say im a huge fan of Hollister and A&F lol.

Grand Canyon Tour

We booked a day tour at Grand Canyon through Take Tours. This was one of the most affordable tours we found online (only USD 8;5 per pax) and included the hotel pickup, round trip coach ride to Grand Canyon South Rim and also a light lunch!

Waiting at the Wynn hotel coach pickup area for the coach to arrive

Our tour itinerary for the day

We were surprised to receive a small breakfast package each which included orange juice and a cinnamon roll. Love small touches which make a big difference :D

Along the way we saw alot of open spaces, low buildings, casinos, deserts..i was trying to imagine myself staying there but somehow couldnt picture myself living there haha

The famous Hoover Dam!

The bus stopped to let us take a few pictures lol.

After a few hours ride (and watching a couple of movies playing on the bus), we arrived at our final destination The Grand Canyon!

We were given our individual light lunch set which included a bag of Lays potato chips, raspberry shortbread cookies, big red apple and a ham and cheese mayo sandwich which was pretty yummy

After our lunch, we were free to explore the grand canyon.  And gosh, it sooo beautiful!

Look at this amazing view!! It definitely deserves its reputation as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world!

Grand Canyon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona. It is contained within and managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, and the Havasupai Tribe. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of preservation of the Grand Canyon area, and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery. It is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,000 feet or 1,800 meters).Nearly two billion years of the Earth's geological history has been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted. While the specific geologic processes and timing that formed the Grand Canyon are the subject of debate by geologists, recent evidence suggests the Colorado River established its course through the canyon at least 17 million years ago.Since that time, the Colorado River continued to erode and form the canyon to its present-day configuration.
