Yay! I've not been on holiday since this year (ok i know i went to genting but i mean its so near so not counted lol) and finally we are going for a holiday trip!
Will be going to HK/Shenzhen/Macau with Cindy, Kelvin, Limin and Kelvin's dad will also join us from Guangzhou for the trip ;D

There was a special price on SQ to HK for S$480 plus and Cathay Pacific promo for S$380 nett so we took Cathay Pacific instead!

Looked online on agoda.com.sg for hk hotel deals, found this boutique hotel called Butterfly on Prat at Tsim Sha Tsui.

We booked a superior room for about S$220/night including taxes.
As always, I always check the hotel reviews on Tripadvisors.
Reviews were pretty good, its ranked #41 of 347 hotels in Hong Kong. Most of the reviews said it was at a good location with street food, shopping nearby and the MTR station located 5 mins away.
We will be spending 2 nights in HK before going to our next destination: Shenzhen
Shenzhen
Shenzhen was a little tricky, i dont know much about Shenzhen actually. I only know there is this Luohu Commerical Center (which is famous for selling replica stuff) and Dongmen 东门 shopping street which is a shopping area in the east of Shenzhen in Luohu district.
After reading reviews on Tripadvisor and Agoda, was actually deciding between other hotels like Crowne Plaza Landmark Shenzhen but in the end we decided to choose this Days Inn Shenzhen hotel.

The rates are quite good, they range from S$70 for their superior/deluxe room to S$120++ plus for a suite!
Hmm now to think of it, hotels in Singapore are soo much more expensive than in other countries. Even Hong Kong! Average rate for hotel in Orchard area is like $300++
Anyway we will stay 2 nights in Shenzhen before going to our last destination Macau.
Macau
I'm very excited about going to Macau. Why?
because...
*drumroll*
We will be staying at Venetian Macau! Think we wouldnt have the budget to stay at Venetian Macau if not for Cindy having staff rates for Venetian Macau!
Average room rate is like S$300 plus for 1 night at one of their suites, but with the staff rate, we only have to pay *ahem* around HKD600++/night or S$110+/night!
We will be staying at Bella Suites, booked 2 rooms!
