The swine flu is spreading so fast, scary! Its like SARS all over again, and just when everybody thought the economy was starting to recover, this flu thingy starts lol..I think its just a matter of time before it comes to SG.

Anyway i'm starting to do some research on renovation for Kelvin's room :) Cuz i spend alot of time at his house and moving in to his house after our wedding next year, so must do up his room nicely cuz will be staying there for the next few years! Planning to repaint the room, hack the inbuilt cupboards away, repolish the floor and put a plasma tv in his room. We also thinking of doing wallpaper on 1 side of the room, i heard Goodrich got very classy wallpapers

Getting ideas from renotalk and other forums, some of the advice the people from the forum give is pretty good! There were some horror stories i also read which i feel really bad for those pple who spent so much money on their reno and it turned out lidat..

I got this contact for a contractor from Bobo (thanks girl!), hopefully he can give us a good quote. i heard pretty rave reviews about his good attitude and reasonable prices so keeping my fingers crossed it'll work out! We had a couple of quotes from other contractors before this, but Kelvin said they were pretty expensive..i think like 2-3k? If we can keep it to around 1k plus, i think that's good enough!

I like this Molecule vase i saw from a blog!!

Wondering if its still sold in the stores hmmm..

Mokky and I went to Leech's baby shower last weekend. Mokky's baby, Melia, is soo cute, i kept snapping pics of her lol. Im sure she'll be gorgeous when she grows up (she already is so pretty heh). Mokky says she's very spoilt, like a princess..even her shoes say little princess or sthg haha.

She was very active and was so fascinated by the color wheel opposite the road..so Mokky brought her to look at it.

Too bad i didnt get pics of Leech's baby, i wanted to but didnt have the chance there were so many people swarming around her!

After that, Kelvin and I had dinner with our friends at Tampines One. We went to Manduku, the japanese Marche style food court. It was pretty okay, but i feel its overpriced. And the mall was so crowded!! After that, we went to East Coast for drinks at a irish pub there.
