Koh Samui Trip

Koh Samui Trip - Jan 09

We booked the tix through BKK airways and it costs around 450 per pax. Jie and Maurizio rented a friend's house in Koh Samui near Lamai Beach and we stayed there during the trip.

The house is a 3 bedroom duplex and has a large garden surrounding it. It was beautifully done up in bali style and very nice! Quite farney, every morning i would see 4 small roosters or hens waddling in through the gate and they would roam in the garden, pecking around for food.

This is the kitchen and bar counter corner.

Living room area

The living room space is big!

I love the open air rain shower in the bathroom on the 1st floor.

At the Beach

Kelvin had a good time at the beach haha. He got convinced by the beach woman to do the removal of dead skin at the feet for 300 baht.

In action - Kelvin's dead skin being removed

Kelvin took this pic using my hp and set it as my wallpaper >.<

Food

The food at Koh Samui is sooo good. The seafood is fresh especially the fish and prawns. It was almost heaven that nite when we had dinner by the beach near Lamai Beach, at a place called Coco beach or something.

We ordered so much food, spicy glass noodles salad and prawn thai salad, tom yam soup, fish, grilled huge prawns, mussels, squid etc. Topped with beer, coconut juice, it was an amazing dinner. I think that was the best meal i had there :)

I like this pic of me and jie, very sweet haha

Heart drawn by Kelvin for me!!

I was busy eating that i forgot to take pics of the food there :/

Here are some of the other food we ate for dinner on the nite before we left.

The fish was huge!!

Drinks at some italian resturant at the lamai beach

Drinks at a small bar called AKWA at the Chaweng beach area

Dinner@Monkey Bay Beach Bar

The food there was okay.. not too bad, but prices a bit too steep.

At the Koh Samui airport, there were free refreshments (coffee, tea, orange juice etc) which i thought was pretty cool. They even had free snacks and internet access.

We were so tanned after the trip!! Okay more so for Kelvin but i got a slight tan too which is an achievement for me cuz im so fair haha..

We were joking that Kelvin looks like a Malay or Thai boy now lol. See how black he is!!

I'm abit tanned yah?? haha..we took these pics at the hair salon which eunice always goes to..The stylist Cindy is quite good, very fast and quite good.
