I've always wondered before the invention of internet and email systems, how did people work in the offices?
Did they fax documents to each other instead of scanning soft copies and sending via email? Instead of sending emails through computers, did they have to use the telephone all the time to communicate a message?
I sit in front of the computer and receive/send emails all day. That's practically the only thing i do in the office haha..ok except for faxing, photocopying stuff lah..but still, that's like almost 7 hours of emails..if i dun have a computer, i will not be able to do anything at all lor..seriously!!
I remember that time when the internet was down cuz of some undersea cables were damaged by some earthquake. It was so weird for everybody, everybody in the whole office didnt do anything at all for the couple of days except tidy up files and other admin stuff..of course after that our inbox was flooded with emails haha -.-
Oh well, that's technology for you! Now Man is so dependent on technology that we are rendered helpless without it.
