Wow drama at work today!!

A fire broke out in my office building (Springleaf Tower) during lunch, in the Han's restuarant that's on the ground floor.

Me and my colleagues were having lunch at Raffles Place when it happened. We were walking back to the mrt station when we heard sirens and we were wondering wat happened..then we saw 3 fire engines speeding down the road towards Tanjong Pagar area..then after that another 2 more fire engines followed closely..And we were like ehhh what happened? But we didnt think much of it..Until our colleague who was in the building msged us to say that there was an emergency evacuation at Springleaf Tower! She said she forgot to bring our bags lol...

Anyway when we got back, there was a big crowd below the building but the fire had been put out and soon we went back up to the office haha..

Interesting day at work huh??
