Did i mention i hate taking the MRT?

Its always so crammed and the commuters are always packed like sardines in a tin. Sometimes i literally see passengers with their faces pressed against the MRT door and even then, people standing outside would try to squeeze their way in. It is so painful to watch sometimes and on days like these, i wish someone would drive me to work (hint to my dear bf) and I can be saved from the torture. And the air-conditioning in the train - Don't get me started on it. I could go on and on about this. Sometimes it freezing cold and on other days, i practically cant breathe because the air is so thin inside the MRT, compounded by the effect of the hundreds of passengers packed in each train compartment. Urgh.

And i notice that many times in the mornings, the MRT stations are littered with promotional inserts (most of the time the culprit is Dell) that fall out from Today newspapers that passengers carry on the way to the platform. I mean, what is it with Today and Dell? I understand that these companies need to advertise in the newspapers and maybe they think its a good idea to slot these ads in between the pages of Today. BUT do they realize that the ads are dropping all over the place when people open up the papers to read the pages??Its such an eyesore and i feel like writing in to Today to complain. I mean they could staple it with the pages so that it wouldnt drop out whenever people open the pages right??-.-
