Have always wanted to know which brands these hotels use.. I remember that time we went to Bangkok and stayed at Hilton Hotel there the bedsheets were so comfortable i was soo tempted to buy them cuz they had a menu beside the bed saying to contact the hotel if we wanted to purchase any of the hotel items including the linen. But I didnt buy them in the end cuz it was too expensive ;/
So recently, I have been super happy because I finally found a place which sells luxury bed linen from hotels sold at a fraction of the original price! Imagine sleeping on the finest luxurious italian bed sheets which are used by the royalty and celebrities like Gwneyth Paltrow, Heidi Klum, Madonna etc.
Introducing the following sumptuous luxury bed linen line:
Frette
Designer Dialogue: Frette’s Ornella Albizzati
"They are referred to as investment linens, not only because of their classic and timeless style, but especially because of their outstanding durability, lasting up to ten years. It’s not a surprise to see that, for the last 150 years, the brand has been supplying the crème de la crème of high society, from the Italian royal family and the Vatican to European kings and queens to prime five-star hotels, including the Ritz in Paris, Claridge’s and the Savoy in London, Singapore’s Raffles, the Cipriani in Venice and the Plaza Athenée in New York, who have all relied on Frette to promise their discerning guests sweet dreams and a good night’s snooze. Even travellers on the world’s most famous cruise ships and trains, from the Titanic to the Orient Express, have been lulled to sleep between the house’s soft bed linens.
Albizzati also points out that all materials are produced in Italy, but using the best Egyptian cotton, sourced from a single valley along the Nile. Over the years, the house has grown to include other luxurious materials, such as high-grade satin, lace, cashmere and even shaved mink, offering a whole range of home products, including bed sheets, pillows, throws, blankets, candles, fragrances, bath and beach accessories, as well as a clothing range. Similar to a fashion house, Frette creates two collections each year, one for spring/summer and one for autumn/ winter, including an annual limited edition, dedicated to a particular iconic woman. "
