2025 Dividends Summary

Now that 2025 is drawing to a close, once again I have done a summary of the dividends received for the last year. I've realised I haven't been very consistent in blogging about this and I need to remember to do so more often moving forward!

I'm pretty happy to say that i have received a grand total of $3,229 of dividends for 2025! That comes up an average monthly div amount of $269.

I'm also very close to my original target to get dividends almost every month! I'm getting dividends about 11 months out of the year, so that's pretty awesome

I was looking back at my old post from 2014 (11 years ago!!) when I mentioned I had received around $1k back then. It was funny how I also had mentioned i wanted to retire by 40 haha! 

I guess now my goalpost has shifted to retire by 50 yrs (i.e not to stop work totally but to achieve FIRE or financial independence) but regardless I'm still determined to stay on track on my target to retire early!

Venchi Dark Chocolate Tasting Event

Attended a Venchi Chocolate event organised by Raffles Prestige together with Chloe and we enjoyed the session! 

Tried different levels of Chocolate from 70% to 100% and well my favourite was 70% haha.

Como bday vouchers

Ever since the Amex Plat benefits were getting nerfed, i was like oh no cuz one of the perks was the comoclub birthday vouchers which are issued for your birthday (2 weeks before actual date). Last year Kelvin and I got the $200 bday vouchers (which can be used at Club21 or Kids21) each and $40 dining treat at como restaurants (Candlenut, Culina Bistro etc).

Then the news came that comoclub members would no longer get the bday vouchers. Luckily it turned out that those who were members before Jan 25 were still entitled to the vouchers. True enough, i just received my bday vouchers in the como app yesterday! This time i got $100 vouchers cuz you get downgraded to c4 if you don't hit the min spend but hey, I'll take it!

GUCCI Beauty Masterclass

Raffles City has recently launched a Beauty Vault pop up on their 3rd floor for the month of June and July featuring a number of luxury brands including Gucci Beauty, Jo Malone, Maision Francis Kurkdjian amongst others.

Under the Raffles Prestige program (all thanks to the amazing Amex Plat card which i always rave about), I managed to sign up for a few masterclasses. The first one I attended was a beauty masterclass led by Gucci Beauty National Makeup Artist, Zoe Ting.

We got to try out different Gucci Beauty products hands on during the session including their foundation, blush, balm and other products. I loved the pink face brushes which we used and so tempted to get it (free gift if you purchase certain amount and above).

Goodie bag consisted of a few perfume vials from Gucci Flora and lip colour samples.
