Genting & KL trip

Went with Kelvin and his family on a 3D2N trip to KL and Genting. 

This was the 2nd time i went with Cindy to Genting haha, i rem our first trip she went with me and Kelvin in 2005 not long after i started dating Kelvin lol.

The first leg of the journey was at Genting.

On the coach to Genting

We stayed at the First World hotel and the standard room was very basic and bare. There isnt much of a view (in fact if you get those facing the buildings its quite gross cuz the building facade looks very dirty). But guess that is cuz it's cheap so cant expect much.. I would like to stay at the other rooms at First World though, like the triple room or club room some day,

Walked around at the indoor theme park after checking in and took some pics with his family

Genting hasnt changed much actually over the years, the indoor theme park rides and shops are always the same. The fashion there also hasnt changed much haha, somehow i feel the clothes sold there are about 5 years backward from Singapore fashion lol..Oops.

We had some wanton mee for lunch. I rem the food didnt taste very fantastic, was ok only. But then again, generally you cant expect much from the food at genting haha.

The day passed by very past, played at the slots at genting and of course i didnt win anything haha. 

Took a selfie with Cindy at the bus terminal while waiting for the coach to bring us to K.L.

Kuala Lumpur

We stayed at the Berjaya Times Square hotel at K.L. we stayed here also the last time we were here.Their rooms are huge and have a separate area for the bedroom.

Their bathrooms were pretty nice too, they have a bath tub and separate shower area.



After checking in, we explored the Berjaya Times Square building which was just below the hotel.  Had lunch at a HK cafe and i ordered some maggi mee thingy haha

After that we were very happy cuz we saw Hui Lau Shan which is famous in HK!

Did some shopping and here are some of my buys!



Vivi and Ray magazines in English! im positive you can only get these in Malaysia and only some parts of Malaysia sell it.

Bought a bright reddish/pink top which i still love till today

 Breakfast was included in the package so we had a good breakfast at the cafe hotel. I love it when breakfast is included with the hotel stay ^^

After that, we were supposed to leave for Singapore soon. The coach was due to arrive in the afternoon so we had a quick lunch at this famous Bak Kut Teh shop nearby the hotel.

Finally it was time to head back to Singapore. I was very thrilled to take the coach back cuz we had topped up extra for the Transtar Solitaire coach.

This was the Solitaire coach that we took back from KL to Singapore. There was some delay as there was something wrong with the bus and we had to wait awhile while the issue got fixed.

Finally it was done and we could head off! I really like the Solitaire coach, they have like individual seats with private TV screen and lots of leg space!

It also came with a blanket (Burberry lookalike with checks) in case you got cold during the coach ride

wide movie selection to choose from - its almost like sitting in a plane lol

And best of all, it came with a "air stewardess" haha..it was actually this guy that served us our food that came in a packed bento box. not too bad i must say!

That concludes our 3 day 2 nights K.L/Genting trip! Had a nice time and somehow i like trips to genting cuz its like a family thing for me, having went to genting with my own family many times since i was very young lol.
